oDesk.com will be unavailable for about 1 hour beginning 01:00 GMT, Thursday, October 21, 2010 (Wednesday, October 20, 6:00PM PDT). This is longer than our usual release window. UPDATE: we’ve successfully completed maintenance and restored the service to normal. Again, apologies for the inconvenience.

oDesk.com will be briefly unavailable while we deal with an unforeseen database problem. In order to perform the work safely, we need all external access to be suspended.
